Meet Charles McBurney Jr.   Jacksonville Attorney

Charles McBurney is a native of Orlando, Florida. He has lived in Jacksonville since receiving his law degree from the University of Florida in 1982. He graduated from the University of Florida with high honors in 1979.

McBurney is active in the Commercial Law League of America where he has held several positions. He is a past officer and director of the Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association and has served as Chairman of the Bankruptcy Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association. McBurney has achieved an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in the Bar Register of Prominent lawyers. McBurney has been a frequent lecturer for continuing legal education regarding bankruptcy and commercial law. He is also a member of the Florida House of Representatives where, among other committees, he is Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, which is the House Committee overseeing changes to civil and criminal law.

McBurney is a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar and the Jacksonville Bar Association. He is admitted to all Florida courts, the U.S. Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Eleventh Circuit. His achievements have been published in Who's Who in America, as well as Who's Who in American Law.

Skip & Bridget Booth's son -
Palmer Booth, attending classes at Georgia Tech’s campus in France this summer, decided to dive into the culture by participating in the Running of the Bulls at Pamplona, Spain on Sunday July 12, 2015!
As you can imagine, anxious parents were relieved to receive a text message saying his run went well.  WOW!

Morning of August 1st: Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) will take place at the Daytona State College Palm Coast Campus. Registration is open for all Rotarians for Parts 1, 2, 3 and a Graduate Class. See our District website for registration instructions.
Evening of August 1st: Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) “Welcome Home Dinner”.  Hear from the high school students themselves about the impact RYE has had on their lives after a year of study and living in another country.   1. The bar staff at this place was professional and their drinks ensured us a fun night in the city. I can't wait to go back. Most of the negative elements of going to a more popular place are avoided here; the staff at venues for weddings in Los Angeles was really mature and respectful.
