This is a social event and an excellent opportunity to bring partners, friends and prospective members.

A BIG THANK YOU FOR DICTIONARIES

The 3rd grade students at Spring Elementary were so excited to receive their very own dictionaries. Some of our students have never received a book of any sort that they could call their own. We here at Spring Park would like to thank you and your team for providing our 3rd grade students with dictionaries and taking an invested interest in our students' education. The affect  those dictionaries will have on our students will last a life time. Again a sincere thanks for investing in our students here at Spring Park Elementary.

Continuing with our January Rotary Awareness Month theme, allow me to offer a suggestion that may impact membership. It’s a simple twist on recycling. Please take those Rotarian Magazines we all get every month, and once you’ve read it from cover to cover, place it in the office of a local professional. When any of us visit our doctor, dentist, veterinarian, they have kindly provided us with reading material to keep us occupied while we wait. Why not include Rotarian Magazines in that neatly placed pile? Better yet, include your business card, or the ‘Please Visit our Rotary Club’ Cards available from RI, stapled inside. You could also put a handwritten note on the inside with a number to call for more information on local Rotary. For those cynics out there, and yes there are many, it might not work. So what, it’s free, and at a minimum it spreads the name of Rotary. Give it a try.

Two quick reminders, sign up soon for the next RLI, Orange Park, February 1st. Go to the rlitraining.org website to sign up.
RYLA club commitments are open and ongoing as well. More information on both of these opportunities can be found on the District Website.

Thanks so much,
