Meet Patrick Shea
Regional CEO
American Red Cross, North Florida Region

Patrick Shea joined the Red Cross after a very successful 26-year Navy career, most recently as Chief Operating Director of Naval Forces Southern Command headquartered at Naval Station Mayport, Florida. His previous assignments included destroyer and cruiser commands, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Executive Assistant to the Navy Budget Director. He holds graduate degrees in international affairs and business administration and an undergraduate degree from the U.S. Naval Academy. He retires with the rank of Captain, U.S. Navy.

Pat has a unique combination of head-and-shoulders leadership, mission focus, resource stewardship, and people skills that are very well suited for his new position as RCEO. He has a record of excellence in personnel retention and professional development that is complemented with experience in volunteer management and fundraising.

Pat is well connected in the greater Jacksonville community, where he is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and officiates at youth basketball games.

Minutarian Update, Week 32
The Zone wide project initiated in the fall, Rotary Has A Heart, is almost here. Remember, get your club's project information to DGND Marshall. Many of our Rotary, Rotaract, Interact and even one of our Early Act Clubs are doing a great job with this project. Let’s share our success with all of Rotary.

Mark your calendars: District Assembly is March 29th, same great venue in Palatka, same great meal by the Foundation Fryers. District Governor Elect Percy and his team are putting together a fabulous, informative, and inspirational program.
