Overland Bridge Project

Andrew Pakes serves as assistant project manager for the The Walsh Group - Archer Western Contractors.  He has been with Archer western since graduation from the University of Nebraska in 2010.  He served as project engineer on the Light Rail expansion project in Dallas, TX, the New Orleans Levee project, and the Western Wake Freeway project in North Carolina.  He has been working on the Jacksonville Overland Bridge Design-Build project since November 2012.

 Robert Jackson has been a project manager with Reynolds Smith and Hill since February of 2010.  After graduation from the University of Florida in 2000 he served as project engineer for Stanley Consultants and project manager for Kimley-Horne and Associates .

Service Opportunity...

The Undie Campaign
Dignity U Wear provided brand new clothing to over 200,000 people in need last year. Underwear is the most requested item. To provide more people with basic human dignity and to meet the incredible need, Dignity created The Undie Campaign.

DONATION REQUEST: Please bring BRAND NEW socks and underwear to the next meeting. We will collect and donate them to Dignity U Wear for those who need them most!  Its March 1st, last opportunity to bring in undies please!

In addition, we have an opportunity for nine (9) club members to volunteer to sort clothing: Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 9am – 12pm.

Week 34 Rotary Minute... Our District Governor's Message:  

DG Fel Lee, DGE Marshall Butler, DGN Brent Coates, DGND Jeanette Loftus invite you to attend the 2016 District Conference and District Assembly on May 13^th-14^th. For the second year in a row, both events have been combined into one exciting weekend on the campus of Flagler College in historic St. Augustine.

All events will be held at the Ringhaver Student Center on the campus of Flagler College except for Friday’s Recognition and Awards luncheon which will be held in the Ponce de Leon dining hall.

This year we have provided the ability to register online for all conference and assembly events. Registration fees have not changed from last year to keep the event affordable. Register early to take advantage of discounted rates! Early registration ends April 1^st.

Look for a personalized registration email this week inviting you to register for the 2016 District Conference & Assembly. You can view all registration options on our district web site.
