As a professional education coordinator at Community Hospice, Lois Isabelle provides a variety of in-services on end-of-life issues to physician offices, nursing homes, hospitals and other medical facilities.
Lois joined Community Hospice in 1991 and has served as a PRN nurse, assessment/admission nurse, marketing representative, and education coordinator for health care professionals and the community at large. Before joining Community Hospice, she was a relief supervisor at Jacksonville Medical Center and served in a variety of staff and supervisory nursing positions at Cohoes Memorial Hospital, Upstate Medical Center and Meyers Community Hospital in New York State.
Lois received her nursing degree from St. Peter’s Hospital School of Nursing in Albany, N.Y. In July 2015 she retired as House Supervisor from Baptist Medical Center Beaches, where she had been a nursing supervisor for 29 years. In 2011, she was named one of the Great 100 Nurses of Northeast Florida.

Our Club is in Rotary District 6970 in Zone 34. And, we
do GREAT work!
This past weekend, Rotary District 6970 met for a Seminar
in Orange Park with about 200 Rotarians from around the District. The Rotary
Club of South Jacksonville had a strong showing and also won some Rotary
International awards including the Presidential Citation and the Public Relations Award. PP Odette picked up awards for our Rotary Club of South Jacksonville.
It's good to know, of the 532 zones worldwide, our Zone
#34 (Georgia/Florida/All Caribbean Islands) ranks 4th in the whole world!!! Our
district went over a million Dollars for giving for the first time with a total
giving of $1,067,309. We can all be proud!
