The Rotary Oratory Competition committee has been working hard to conduct another outstanding event for our area high school seniors. The final event will be held February 18, 2016. We are currently in the stage of raising funds to pay for the scholarships. Our Governor's Message:
I recently attended a dinner welcoming home our district’s youth exchange students after a year abroad. I heard riveting and heart felt stories about the positive impact the program has made on each of their lives. Please consider hosting or sponsoring a youth exchange student during the 2016-2017 school year. Forms to make your intentions known are due September 19th.
Hear the roar of the crowd and smell the food concessions! Yep, football season has started and so has our End Polio Now partnership with the Jaguars. 100% of ticket sales go to The Rotary Foundation for End Polio Now!!! Program flyer and ticket ordering forms can be found on our district website.
Are you really adventuresome? Then plan to participate in a week long polio immunization exercise in West Africa starting November 10th. More information can be found under our district website’s “Opportunity Center.”
