Stacy Ridenour joined the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra as Executive Director in October
of 2008. She is responsible for managing
the fiscal and human resources of the organization to achieve the greatest
artistic and community service potential.
She also works to build partnerships with other arts and community
organizations and businesses.
Prior to her
appointment as the JSO Executive Director, Ms. Ridenour served as Executive
Director of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra from 1998-2008. Ms. Ridenour
previously served as Vice President/General Manager of the Grand Rapids
Symphony. She also held the position of Program Manager for
the American Music
Center in New York City.
Ms. Ridenour holds a
Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Michigan
and a Master’s degree in Arts Management from New York University.
Ms. Ridenour is an
active volunteer with Jacksonville Rotary. Her husband is concert pianist
Richard Ridenour who performed as soloist with the Jacksonville Symphony in
2005 and in 2011. They have two sons: Brandon
(26) is the trumpet player for the Canadian Brass and Ross (22) currently works
for American Eagle. Ms. Ridenour is a
native of Missoula, Montana.
She and her husband enjoy snow and water skiing in Montana
and Michigan, and hiking and biking near their
home in old Arlington.
Annual Club Elections
The following members have been nominated to serve on the Board of Directors of the Club for the term July 1, 2012-June 30, 2014:
Skip Booth, Neil McGuinness, Chris Bouton, Juan Gutierrez,
Brendan Bledsoe, Mary Goldsmith, Ron Raymond
The annual business meeting will be held on Tuesday, Dec 6 during our regular lunch meeting. Voting will take place at that time.
