Meet Russ Miller

Currently retired and living in Palatka, Florida with his
wife of 38 years, Susan. Russ & Susan lived in Wesley Chapel, FL for almost
30 years. After 35 years in sales and marketing primarily within the printing
industry Russ spends almost all of his time volunteering either in Rotary, the
Guardian ad Litem program or serving on the Board of The Lee Conlee House.
Russ joined Rotary in December of 1999 by starting a new
club and proudly maintains perfect attendance. Served as Club President in
2001/2002, District Annual Giving Chair for four years beginning in 2003, AG
for two years, District Governor, District Rotary Foundation Chair, District
6970 Trainer, Assistant Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator, most all club
and district committees and now serves as District 6970’s representative on the
Rotary Director’s Advisory Council, Zone 33/34 Treasurer and District
Membership Chair.
Russ quickly became a Paul Harris Fellow, Benefactor, Level Seven Bequest Society member and a Level Two Major Donor to The Rotary Foundation. He has been recognized as a Club Rotarian of the Year multiple times, District Rotarian of the Year and a Champion of The Rotary Foundation.

Russ enjoys all things Rotary, RVing, kayaking and meeting people.
Mark Your Calendars - Service Project
PET Mobility Project! We need 10 people to help Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Penny Farms to build scooters!!! The gift of mobility to millions of people in developing countries who are unable to walk! We will be building three-wheeled, hand powered scooters for physically challenged individuals who have lost mobility due to landmine explosions, illness, birth defects, disease or accidents!
Volunteer to build PET parts on Saturday, October 12th from 9am - 12pm.

This week,
DG Art indicates he is often asked during my club visits, how many breakfast
clubs we have, lunch clubs, dinner. That is, how many clubs meet on Monday,
Tuesday, etc., so he looked it all up.
- Busiest Day: Tuesday with 19 club meetings.
- Most Lunch Meetings: Tuesday and Wednesday with 9 each.
- Most Breakfast Meetings: Thursday with 7.
- Number of Lunch Meetings: 29
- Number of Breakfast Meetings: 21
- Breakfast Meetings on Monday Morning: 0
- Dinner Meetings on Friday Night: 0
